Risk perception contained in the programme of the course KPLP 1 Lipnice viewed by its participants

Abstract:

V naší práci máme v úmyslu nabídnout náhled do problematiky rizika obsaženého v kurzech pro studenty prvního ročníku katedry rekreologie FTK UP Olomouc na středisku v Lipnici nad Sázavou. Protože tato problematika vzhledem k nebývalé šíři spektra v těchto kurzech obsažených aktivit je ve své komplexnosti poměrně obtížně uchopitelná, vybrali jsme si pro naše zkoumání z programové mozaiky jediný fragment, kterým je vnímání a interpretace rizika samotnými účastníky, a to specificky v rámci tří vybraných fyzicky náročných aktivit. V teoretické části naší práce nicméně hodláme poskytnout kontextuálnější pohled na bezpečnost lipnických kurzů. Kombinací kvalitativních a kvantitativních metod se budeme snažit porozumět závažnosti, úloze a významu, kterou účastníci přisuzují riziku obsaženému v různých formách v programech a kurzech zážitkové pedagogiky

Abstract:

In our work we intend to examine the problematics of risk incorporated in the Lipnice experiential learning course for the 1st year students of the Olomouc Faculty of Physical Culture's Department of Recreology. As this area is rather difficult to grasp in its complexity, we selected a single fragment from the extensive program mosaic - perception and interpretation of risk by the participants themselves. Specificaly, we focused on three activities, in consequence of the findings of our a pre-research carried out in Spring 2007. Nevertheless, we offer a broader view of the studied problematics of risk and safety within Lipnice courses in the theoretical part of our work. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methdos we try to provide a firmer basis for understanding of the seriousness, meaning, and role which risk plays in the experiential learning programs and courses
