This diploma thesis deals with acquisition on English idiomatic structures by non-native speakers, i. e. learners of English as their second language. Tato diplomová práce pojednává o osvojování anglických idiomatických frází nerodilými mluvčími neboli studentů angličtiny jakožto druhého jazyka. V teoretické části je jako první probíráno osvojování druhého jazyka.
