The effectiveness of teambuilding

Abstract:

Práce je věnována teambuildingu. Toto téma hraje velmi důležitou roli v současném světě, a to díky růstu významu lidského faktoru v celkovém řízení podniku. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teorii je vytvořen základ pro danou problematiku, a to na základě knih českých a zahraničních autorů. V praktické části práce již proběhl výzkum v konkrétních hotelích. Hlavní cílem práce je prozkoumat, zhodnotit a navrhnout věcná doporučení pro zlepšení teambuildingových akcí, potažmo zvýšení efektivnosti práce ve zkoumaných hotelových zařízeních. První hypotéza je následující tvrzení: teambuildingy podporují „pracovní přátelství“ mezi zaměstnanci. Druhá hypotéza zní následovně: teambuilding jako součást personálního managementu a personální politiky organizace je velmi málo využíván hotely v České republice a Rusku.

Abstract:

The work is dedicated to teambuilding. This theme plays a very important role in the contemporary world, thanks to the growing importance of the human factor in the overall management of the company. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. Theoretical part is examing issue based on the literature of Czech and foreign authors. Practical part of the work is based on conducting research in the specific hotels. The main aim of this thesis is to explore, evaluate and propose substantive recommendations to improve team-building events and of increasing work efficiency in the investigated hotels. The first hypothesis is the following statement: teambuilding supports "working friendship" among employees. The second hypothesis is following: teambuilding as part of personnel management and personnel policies of the organization is very little used among the hotels in the Czech Republic and Russia.
