Methods and techniques of conflicts and disputes resolution in children homes.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce řeší dopady konfliktů a sporů na děti z dětských domovů a roli vychovatele při jejich řešení. Cílem bylo zjistit reakce dětí v konfliktních situacích a hlavní příčiny vzniku konfliktů a sporů mezi dětmi v dětských domovech. Vyhodnocení probíhalo na základě standardizovaného dotazníkového šetření v kombinaci uzavřených otázek a Likertovým škálováním s pěti možnostmi ve dvou zařízeních u 73 respondentů. Výsledky kvantitativně orientovaného výzkumu, kde bylo stanoveno 5 hypotéz, ukazují, že jako hlavní příčinu konfliktů a sporů vidíme jednoznačně v nedostatečném uspokojování psychologických potřeb, kdy se děti snaží uspokojit své potřeby prostřednictvím problémového chování, které má vliv na vznik konfliktu. Při řešení konfliktů a sporů hraje vychovatel významnou roli. V závěru jsou získané výsledky shrnuty a propojeny s odbornou literaturou a souvisejícími prameny v teoretické části práce.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the effects of conflicts and disputes on children from children´s homes and the role of the educator in solving them. The goal was to find out the reactions of children in conflict situation and the main causes of conflicts and disputes between children in children´s homes. The evaluation took place on the basis of a standardized questionnaire survey in a combination of closed questions and Likert scaling with five options in two facilities for 73 respondents. The results of oriented research, where 5 hypotheses were established, show that the main causes of conflicts and disputes are unequivocally seen in insufficient satisfaction of psychological needs, when children try to satisfy their needs through problematic behavior that has an impact on the emergence of conflict. The educator plays a role in resolving conflicts and disputes. In the conclusion, the obtained results are summarized and connected with prefessional literature and related sources in the theoretical part of the thesis.
