Foreign policy of USA (dual containment) and EU (critical dialogue) towards Iran after the end of the Cold War
Abstract:
Předmětem bakalářské práce je srovnání zahraničních politik USA („dvojí zadržování“) a Evropské unie („kritický dialog“) vůči Íránu v posledním desetiletí 20. století. Zkoumány jsou jejich cíle, zdůvodnění a způsob implementace. Analyzovány jsou rovněž praktické výsledky, kterých bylo prostřednictvím jednotlivých politik dosaženo. V závěrečné kapitole jsou přístupy USA a EU srovnány a zhodnoceny.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis compares foreign policies of USA (“Dual containment”) and EU (“Critical dialogue”) towards Iran in the last decade on 20th century. The study analyse their goals, motives and ways of implementation. The practical results of both policies are also examined. In the last chapter are both policies evaluated and compared.
