Regulation of Financial Markets After the Financial Crisis - the Benefits and the Risks for the Macroeconomic Environment of a Company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce si klade za cíl analyzovat a zhodnotit změny v oblasti regulace a dohledu nad finančními trhy realizované po světové finanční krizi, přičemž diplomová práce analyzuje zejména příslušné modifikace regulatorních pravidel aplikovaných v rámci finančních trhů Evropské unie s akcentem na Českou republiku. Specificky diplomová práce verifikuje tezi, že nová regulatorní pravidla tak, jak byla přijata, či jsou plánována být přijata, zvýší v rámci Evropské unie signifikantním způsobem stabilitu a důvěryhodnost finančních trhů. Cílem diplomové práce je rovněž nalezení odpovědí na výzkumné otázky stanovené v rámci úvodní kapitoly. V relaci k příslušným regulatorním pravidlům diplomová práce simultánně poukazuje na možné negativní konsekvence, které se s danými regulatorními pravidly pojí. Závěrečné kapitoly diplomové práce jsou dedikovány návrhům ze strany autora diplomové práce, verifikaci uvedené teze a zodpovězení stanovených otázek.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis aims to analyze and evaluate changes in the area of regulation and supervision of financial markets after the global financial crisis, with the diploma thesis mainly analyzing appropriate modifications of regulatory rules applied in the frame of EU financial markets, with an emphasis on the Czech Republic. Specific the diploma thesis verifies the thesis, that the new regulations in the form they were ratified, or which are planned to be ratified, will increase stability in the European Union in a significant way and also increase the credibility of the financial markets. The aim of the thesis is also to find answers to research questions set in the first chapter. In relation to the corresponding regulatory rules the diploma thesis simultaneously points out some of the possible negative consequences, with which the regulatory rules govern. The final chapters of the diploma thesis are dedicated to suggestions made by the author of the thesis, verification of the thesis and answers to the set questions.
