Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou ironie z pragmatického hlediska. Na začátku práce je uveden krátký přehled základních prvků, které jsou stěžejní pro analýzu ironie. Dále se v práci zkoumají rozdíly mezi dvěma druhy ironie a také úlohy, které při výskytu ironie hrají účastníci komunikace. Práce se dále zabývá problematikou výkladu ironie. In my thesis I deal with the analysis of iron as a discipline of pragmatics. At the beginning of this work a brief overview of the essential elements of irony is given. This part includes distinction between underlying and literal irony and the description of the roles of participants at the occurrence of irony.
