Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na emoční inteligenci manažerů v mezinárodních firmách. Teoretická část poskytuje komplexní pohled na definici emoční inteligence z různých perspektiv, zkoumá kompetence podle Daniela Golemana a analyzuje vztah mezi pozicí manažera a emoční inteligencí. Dále se zabývá projevy emoční inteligence v mezinárodním prostředí. Praktická část práce vychází z provedeného výzkumu, který hodnotil úroveň emoční inteligence manažerů prostřednictvím dotazníků a rozhovorů. Cílem bylo specifikovat a potvrdit výhody uplatňování emoční inteligence v mezinárodním kontextu. V závěru se potvrzuje, že emoční inteligence je klíčovým faktorem pro úspěšnou kariéru manažera, zvláště v mezinárodním prostředí, kde podporuje efektivní komunikaci, motivaci zaměstnanců a produktivitu týmu.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the emotional intelligence of managers in international companies. The theoretical part provides a comprehensive view of the definition of emotional intelligence from various perspectives, examines competencies according to Daniel Goleman, and analyzes the relationship between the position of a manager and emotional intelligence. It further explores the manifestations of emotional intelligence in an international environment. The practical part of the thesis is based on research conducted to assess the level of emotional intelligence among managers through questionnaires and interviews. The aim was to specify and confirm the benefits of applying emotional intelligence in an international context. In conclusion, it is confirmed that emotional intelligence is a key factor for a successful managerial career, especially in an international environment, where it promotes effective communication, employee motivation, and team productivity.
