Primary circulation of nutrients in the countryside as a topic of environmental education

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Primární koloběh živin v přírodě jako téma environmentální výchovy“ je rozdělena do dvou základních celků, na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část pojednává o ekologické výchově obecně, dále se zaměřuje didaktickou problematiku a popis potravních vztahů a řetězců. V teoretické části jsou popsány dva hlavní uplatňované způsoby vyučování, a to integrovaná tematická výuka a metoda kritického myšlení. Jsou zde podány základní informace o čtyřech typech biotopů, které jsou zastoupeny v učivu prvního stupně. V praktické části práce popisuje sedm zástupců živočišné říše, kteří jsou zahrnuti v ověřovaném učebním celku. Cílem práce je metodicky připravit integrovanou tematickou výuku pro 5. ročník základní školy a zrealizovat ji, výsledky práce zhodnotit a popsat. Stěžejním úkolem praktické časti je přesný popis jednotlivých hodin výuky včetně zpracování pracovních listů a dalších metodických materiálů. Výsledky výuky a její evaluace jsou popsány v závěru práce.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis „Primary circulation of nutrients in the countriside as a topic of environmental education“ is divided into two main parts, the theoretical one and the practical one. The theoretical part deals with environmental education generally and then it is focussed on the description of food relations and food chains. The integrated thematic teaching and the method of critical thinking are two ways of learning which are described in the theoretical part. The thesis also gives some basic information about the four types of biotopes which are taught in primary schools. In its practical part the thesis describes seven animal representatives which are included in the instructional unit verified. The goal of the work is to plan integrated thematic teaching for fifth graders in primary schools and to realise it, the results of the work should be evaluated and described. The crucial point of the practical part is an accurate delineation of each of the lessons including work sheets and other methodical materials. The results of teaching and its evaluation are described in the final part of my thesis.
