Knowledge of Medical school students about the Activities of the Emergency services

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá znalostmi studentů středních zdravotnických škol (SZŠ) o zdravotnické záchranné službě. Hlavním cílem této práce je zjistit, jaké povědomí a znalosti mají studenti SZŠ o zdravotnické záchranné službě na území České republiky. Touto prací byli osloveni studenti SZŠ v Opavě. Teoretická část této práce je zaměřena na historii zdravotnické záchranné služby (ZZS), dále pak na druhy výjezdových posádek a v neposlední řadě na činnost ZZS. Další součástí teoretické části je poté zdravotnické operační středisko, práce dispečera, traumatologický plán a pracoviště krizové připravenosti. Poslední částí této práce je část věnovaná zákonům, které činnost ZZS ovlivňují. Praktická část práce je provedena formou kvantitativní metody výzkumu (dotazníkového šetření), kdy pomocí vybraných otázek a odpovědí (ABCD) bylo provedeno dotazníkové šetření znalostí a povědomí respondentů o ZZS. Cílem a výsledkem této bakalářské práce je zjistit, jakými znalostmi stran ZZS dotazovaní respondenti disponují, aby byl splněn hlavní cíl této bakalářské práce.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the knowledge of secondary medical school students (SMHS) about Emergency Medical Services. The main point of this thesis is to find out what awareness and knowledge students of secondary schools have about the medical rescue service in the Czech Republic. Students of SMHS in Opava were approached with this work. The theoretical part of this thesis is focused on the history of the emergency medical rescue service, then on the types of emergency crews and the activities of the emergency medical service. Another part of the theoretical part is then the emergency medical operations centre, the work of the dispatcher, the trauma plan and the crisis preparedness workplace. The last part of this thesis is the part dedicated to the laws that affect the activities of the Emergency Medical Services. The practical part of the thesis is carried out in the form of a quantitative research method (questionnaire survey), using selected questions and answers (ABCD) to survey the knowledge and awareness of respondents about the Emergency Medical Services. The aim and outcome of this bachelor thesis is to find out the awareness and knowledge of the respondents in order to achieve the objective of this bachelor thesis.
