The role of art in the aducation of a child with Asperger syndrome

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřená na zkoumání výtvarného vyjádření dítěte s Aspergerovým syndromem. Výtvarné aktivity totiž mohou poskytnout příležitost, kde se může projevit, zviditelnit a ukázat, na co myslí a co prožívá. Byla také zkoumána spontánní výtvarná tvorba a její vliv na začlenění dítěte do kolektivu, jeho chování v průběhu tvorby, vývoj výtvarného vyjádření a další jevy. Následně došlo k srovnání tvorby v mateřské škole a navazujícím 1. ročníku základní školy. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí. Teoretická část je věnována zpracování odborných zdrojů a vymezení pojmů autismus a Aspergerův syndrom. Jsou definovány jejich příznaky, diagnostika a možnosti vedení a vzdělávání dětí s touto poruchou. Druhá část je empirická - jedná se o případovou studii. Obsahuje analýzu výtvarných prací dítěte s Aspergerovým syndromem vytvořených v mateřské škole a na 1. stupni ZŠ. Dále je reflektováno jeho chování a další projevy v průběhu tvorby. Cílem práce je také ukázat, jaký vliv má vedení ze strany dospělého na spontánní a částečně řízenou výtvarnou tvorbu a jak se tato tvorba proměňuje.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on exploring the child's visual expression with Asperger's syndrome. Art activities can provide an opportunity where they can manifest themselves, make them visible and show what they think and what they are experiencing. Spontaneous artwork and its influence on the integration of the child into the collective, its behavior during the making, the development of the art expression and other phenomena have also been investigated. Subsequently, the comparison was made in the kindergarten and the 1st year of elementary school. The work consists of two parts. The theoretical part is devoted to the elaboration of professional sources and the definition of the concepts of autism and Asperger syndrome. Their symptoms, diagnosis and management options and the education of children with this disorder are defined. The second part is empirical - this is a case study. It contains an analysis of the child's artwork with Asperger's syndrome, created at kindergarten and elementary school. He also reflects his behavior and other manifestations during the making. The aim of the thesis is also to show the influence of adult management on spontaneous and partially controlled artwork and how this work is transformed.
