Experience in the education and upbringing of children with other first languages at two selected schools

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on Experience in the education and upbringing of children with other first languages at two selected schools, characterize models and typologies of bilingualisms and types of bilingual families. Furthermore, diploma thesis focuses on education and upbringing of bilingual children. This thesis characterizes teachers, its teaching style and teacher concept. In this thesis the author focuses on communication between teachers, parents and children, which do not communicate with the same native language. With the help of the research are described the experiences of the teachers on two chosen schools. At the end of the thesis there is summary of the experience and hints for future teachers, who will work with bilingual children’s, which are on the hand result from finding of qualificative literature and also, they are given from author empiric research.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce, která se zaměřuje na zkušenosti vzdělávání a výchovy bilingvních dětí na dvou vybraných školách, charakterizuje modely a typologii bilingvismu a typ bilingvních rodin. Dále se diplomová práce zaměřuje na výchovu a vzdělání bilingvních dětí. Práce také charakterizuje učitele, jeho učitelský styl a pojetí učitele. V práci se autorka soustředí na komunikaci mezi učiteli, rodiči a žáky, kteří nekomunikují stejným mateřským jazykem. Pomocí výzkumu jsou popsány zkušenosti učitelů na dvou vybraných školách. Ke konci práce jsou shrnuty zkušenosti a rady pro budoucí učitelé, kteří budou pracovat s bilingvními dětmi, které plynou jednak z poznatků načerpaných z odborné literatury, ale také byly získány v rámci empirického šetření autorky práce.
