The competencies of the sociál educator in relation to the needs of the educational practice.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je tématicky orientována na problematiku možného využití sociálního pedagoga v prostředí základních škol v České republice. Teoretická východiska jsou postavena na aktuálním pojetí sociální pedagogiky jako vědní disciplíny i praktické činnosti. Pozornost je věnována pojetí profese sociálního pedagoga a jeho profesních kompetencí, a to jak v ČR, tak v komparaci s vybranými zahraničními vzdělávacími systémy (Slovenská republika, Německá spolková republika, Polská republika, Rakouská republika). Empirická část se věnuje prezentaci výsledků kvalitativně orientovaného výzkumného šetření, zacíleného na analýzu možností využití sociálního pedagoga v edukační realitě základních škol. Sběr dat bude realizován prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření a polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Výzkumný vzorek je tvořen pedagogickými pracovníky na úrovni managementu školy, školních poradenských pracovníků i učitelů. Výstupem práce bude nejen očekávaný profil sociálního pedagoga, včetně jeho kompetencí a možností jejich rozvoje, ale také doporučení pro uplatnění sociálního pedagoga v současné edukační praxi v České republice.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the issues of possible employment of social pedagogues at primary schools in the Czech Republic. The theoretical foundations are based on current conception of social pedagogy as both scientific discipline and practical activity. The thesis pays attention to the conception of social pedagogues profession and their competencies both in the Czech Republic and in comparison with selected foreign educational systems (the Slovak Republic, Germany, Poland, Austria). The empirical part deals with presentation of research results, where qualitative methodology was used. The research is aimed at analysis of various possibilities of social pedagogues work at primary schools and school facilities. Data will be collected by means of questionnaires and half-structured interviews. The research sample is represented by pedagogical workers at the level of school management, school pedagogical councelling and teachers. The thesis input will be both the profile of a social pedagogue and the recommendation for social pedagogues engagement in the process of education.
