K 1. lednu 2014 vstoupil v účinnost zákon č. 89/2012 Sb., občanský zákoník. Ten s sebou přinesl zavedení mnohých nových institutů, mezi něž patří i status veřejné prospěšnosti. The Act no. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code, came into force on January 1st 2014. It introduced many new institutions, including the public benefit status. What is a public benefit? How to define it and how to embed it in the legal system?
