Tato práce se zabývá filmovými adaptacemi děl Aloise Jiráska. Popisuje způsob vzniku vybraných literárních děl a především pak jejich filmových adaptací. Práce se rovněž zabývá teoretickými otázkami vztahu mezi literaturou a filmem. Důležitou roli hraje i zasazení filmových adaptací do historického kontextu. This thesis is about film adaptations of Alois Jirásek novels. It describes the way of the creation of the selected literary work and especially it describes formation of their film´s adaptations. This thesis also deals with theoretical questions of relation between literatury and film. Setting these films adaptations into a historical context plays an important role as well.
