The balance of reclaimed areas of the Radovesice dump against the original terrain

Abstract:

Radovesická výsypka byla založena počátkem 70. let 20. století v Radovesickém údolí. Původně se na jejím místě nacházelo pět vesnic a neporušená krajina Českého středohoří s několika povrchovými toky. V průběhu zakládání, kdy bylo zasypáno téměř deset čtverečních kilometrů, došlo k razantní změně krajinného rázu. Po ukončení zakládání výsypného prostoru začaly na území výsypky probíhat rozsáhlé rekultivační práce, které v současné době finišují, a krajina opět získává přirozenou tvář. Zvýšila se především četnost zalesněných ploch, pastvin, luk, orné půdy a vodních ploch, naopak došlo k redukci občanské zástavby, inženýrských sítí obslužné komunikace. Změnou procentuálního zastoupení a využívání těchto ploch došlo k velkému nárůstu lesní zvěře a k výskytu mnoha vzácných i chráněných druhů rostlin. Současné území Radovesické výsypky disponuje vyšší ekologickou stabilitou, než tomu bylo v 70. letech. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je porovnání současného zastoupení pozemků v rámci Radovesické výsypky vůči stavu před jejím založením. Dílčím cílem je číselné vyjádření rozlohy jednotlivých druhů pozemků a grafické vyjádření původního a současného stavu výsypky.

Abstract:

Radovesice dump has been established in the early 70's of the 20th century in the Radovesice valley. Originally there were five villages and untouched nature of the Czech Central Range with some surface watercourses. During the process of its establishment, when there were almost 10 sq. km backfilled, a vigorous change of the landscape character took place. After the end of the establishment of the dumping area large reclamation works have been initiated. Those works are being finishing and the countryside is getting its natural character back again. The increase has been noticed mainly in the numbers of wooden area, pasture lands, meadows, arable lands and water areas. On the other hand decrease of housing development, underground utilities and infrastructure has been noticed, too. Due to the change of the proportional representation and the usage of those areas a huge growth of wild animals and the evidence of protected types of flora have happened. Current territory of Radovesice dump has got a higher stability at its disposal than it had in 70's. The main aim of this dissertation is a comparison of representation of the lands within the Radovesice dump against the situation before its foundation. The partial aim is the numeral opinion of the area of particular kinds of lands and graphical opinion of the former and current situation of the dump.
