Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá fungováním státních fondů v České republice a jejich zdaněním. V úvodu práce je přiblíženo postavení státních fondů v sektoru veřejných institucí a také v rozpočtové soustavě České republiky. Diplomová práce si klade za cíl analyzovat zdanění těchto fondů z pohledu daně z příjmů, daně z přidané hodnoty a daně z nemovitých věcí. Poznatky práce se opírají o ustanovení jednotlivých daňových zákonů a o veřejně dostupná data o hospodaření státních fondů. V závěru práce je kladen důraz na zdanění Státního fondu kultury ČR, který jako jediný ze státních fondů odvádí daň z příjmů právnických osob. Práce je zakončena formulací závěrů ohledně možnosti optimalizace daňové zátěže Státního fondu kultury.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the functioning of the state funds in the Czech Republic and their taxation. The first part of the thesis describes the position of state funds in the sector of public institutions and in the Czech Republic’s budget system. The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze the possibilities of the taxation of these funds from the perspective of income tax, value added tax and property tax. The findings of the thesis are based on the provisions of different tax laws and on the publicly available data concerning the management of the state funds. The thesis also examines the taxation of the Czech Republic’s State Culture Fund, which is the only state fund that pays corporate income tax. The last part of the thesis provides conclusions about the possibilities of optimizing the State Culture Fund’s tax burden.
