Use of the Internet in the activities of a travel agency

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce jsou možnosti využití internetu v činnosti cestovní kanceláře. Má za cíl definovat tyto možnosti i aktuální trendy a zhodnotit jejich dopady na výsledky cestovní kanceláře. Zaměřuje se na hodnocení efektivity prezentace na webu, sociálních sítích i pomocí reklamních služeb. V praktické části jsou potom obecná doporučení aplikována na příklad konkrétní cestovní kanceláře. Její marketingová činnost na internetu je hodnocena pomocí SWOT analýzy a jsou vypracována doporučení pro další fungování.

Abstract:

Possibilities of using the Internet in the activities of a travel agency are the topic of this bachelor thesis. It aims to define these possibilities and current trends and evaluate their impact on the results of the travel agency. It is focused on evaluating the effectiveness of promotion on the websites, social networks and advertising services. In the practical part, general recommendations are applied to the example of a particular travel agency. Its marketing activities on the Internet are evaluated by a SWOT analysis and recommendations for further operation are set up.
