A View of a Review: Exploring the Structure and Function of Reviewing in Magazines

Pohled na recenze: zkoumání struktury a funkce recenzí v časopisech
Abstract:
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide a detailed study of forms of reviewing in magazines. This study explores what review as genre currently means and what linguistic devices have been used in order to fulfil the purpose of a review. Furthermore, it compares a style of various magazines, i.e. The Review, British Mode and People.
Abstract:
Cílem práce je studie podoby recenzí v neodborných časopisech. Tato studie zkoumá, co žánr recenze v současné době obnáší, jakými jazykovými prostředky dosahuje účelu. Dále srovnává styl různých časopisů, tj. The Review, British Mode a People.
