Diplomová práce se zabývá postojem laické veřejnosti k transplantacím a dárcovství orgánů. Cílem teoretické části je shrnutí poznatků z dostupné literatury o historickém vývoji oboru transplantologie, o právní a etické problematice dárcovství orgánů a jsou zde definovány jednotlivé kategorie dárců orgánů. This thesis deals with public attitude toward transplantation and organ donation. The objective of the theoretical part is to provide an overview of knowledge from available literature on the history of organ transplants and donation, on the legal and ethical aspects of organ donation, and includes also a definition of individual organ donor categories.
