Comparison of the function and regulation of oncogenes Mdm2 and Mdm4
Abstract:
Onkogeny Mdm2 a Mdm4 (MdmX) jsou důležitými regulátory stability a aktivity nádorového supresoru p53, který se podílí na koordinaci buněčné odpovědi na stresové podněty. Cílem této práce je shrnutí dostupné literatury o těchto onkogenech a srovnání jejich struktury, funkce a regulace v normálních i rakovinných buňkách.
Abstract:
The oncogenes Mdm2 and Mdm4 (MdmX) are important regulators of stability and activity of the tumour suppressor p53. This tumour suppressor plays an essential role in the cellular response to various kinds of stress. Main of this work is to resume available literature about this oncogenes and compare their structure, function and regulation in normal and tumour cells.
