Use of didactic technologies in preschool education

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na využívání didaktických technologií v mateřských školách v České republice. Hlavní cíle práce zahrnovaly zjistit, jak často a s jakými didaktickými technologiemi pedagogové pracují, co by ocenili pro lepší práci s těmito technologiemi, a ukázat potenciál umělé inteligence (AI) ve výuce předškolních dětí. První část práce se věnuje historickému vývoji předškolního vzdělávání v České republice a základní legislativě. Následuje kapitola o didaktických technologiích, rozdělení, jejich historii a současných strategiích zavádění do mateřských škol. Další kapitola analyzuje přínosy a výzvy spojené s využíváním didaktických technologií. Přínosy zahrnují zlepšení kvality vzdělávání, podporu individualizovaného učení, inkluzi a přístupnost, zvýšení zapojení a motivace dětí, rozvoj digitální gramotnosti a efektivnější práci pedagogů. Výzvy se týkají obav o zdraví, finanční náročnosti, závislosti na technologiích, setkávání s nevhodným obsahem a nedostatečné odborné přípravy pedagogů. Závěrečná část teoretické části se zabývá umělou inteligencí a jejími možnostmi v předškolním vzdělávání, a poskytuje doporučení pro efektivní využívání didaktických technologií. Výzkumná část práce byla provedena formou dotazníkového šetření mezi učitelkami mateřských škol. Výsledky ukázaly, že většina pedagogů technologie využívá pravidelně a že vidí potřebu dalšího vzdělávání a technické podpory. Potenciál AI byl vnímán pozitivně, pokud bude správně implementována. Celkově práce poskytuje komplexní přehled o současném stavu a možnostech využívání didaktických technologií v předškolním vzdělávání a nabízí praktická doporučení pro jejich efektivní integraci.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the use of didactic technologies in kindergartens in the Czech Republic. The main objectives of the thesis included determining how often and with which didactic technologies educators work, what they would appreciate for better use of these technologies, and demonstrating the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in preschool education. The first part of the thesis deals with the historical development of preschool education in the Czech Republic and the basic legislation. This is followed by a chapter on didactic technologies, their classification, history, and current strategies for their implementation in kindergartens. Another chapter analyzes the benefits and challenges associated with the use of didactic technologies. The benefits include improving the quality of education, supporting individualized learning, inclusion and accessibility, increasing children's engagement and motivation, developing digital literacy, and more efficient work for educators. The challenges concern health concerns, financial costs, technology dependence, exposure to inappropriate content, and insufficient professional training for educators. The final part of the theoretical section focuses on artificial intelligence and its possibilities in preschool education, providing recommendations for the effective use of didactic technologies. The research part of the thesis was conducted through a questionnaire survey among kindergarten teachers. The results showed that most educators use technology regularly and see the need for further training and technical support. The potential of AI was viewed positively, provided it is correctly implemented. Overall, the thesis provides a comprehensive overview of the current state and possibilities of using didactic technologies in preschool education and offers practical recommendations for their effective integration.
