Gender within Sociocultural Context

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o různých pohledech na genderovou problematiku s přiblížením především kulturního hlediska. Teoretická část je zaměřena na genderové role muže a ženy, procesu jejich osvojování a sféry, kde určité sociální stereotypy přežívají nejvíce. Zmíněno je zde také o feminismu a ukrajinské minoritě v České republice, jelikož část respondentek, s kterými byly uskutečněny rozhovory pocházejí právě z této země. V praktické části mé práce uvádím bližší informace o dotazovaných ženách, které mají odlišné původní kulturní zázemí (české a ukrajinské) a jejich pohled na vnímání genderových rolí i celkového stavu. Na základě těchto informací je provedena komparace a výsledné shrnutí.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with different views on the issue of gender dilemma primarily cultural standpoint. The theoretical part is focused on the gender roles of men and women, their learning process and the realm where certain social stereotypes survive. Likewise there is also a feminism and Ukrainian minority in the Czech Republic as part of the respondents with which they were made interviews come just from that country. The practical part of my work includes further information about queried against women that have different original cultural facilities (Czech and Ukrainian) and their perceptions of gender roles and overall condition. On the basis of this information is taken and the resulting summary comparison.
