Literary theory in literary education at the 2nd level of primary school

Abstract:

Cílem práce je soustředění poznatků o místu literární teorie v literární výchově na druhém stupni základních škol. V práci je sledováno, jak je obsah a rozsah literární teorie pro danou etapu vzdělávání vymezen v základních vzdělávacích dokumentech, jak je literární teorie zastoupena ve vybraných čítankových řadách, jak jsou literárněteoretické znalosti ověřovány při přijímacích zkouškách na střední školy a ve společné části maturitní zkoušky z českého jazyka a literatury. Součástí diplomové práce je také výzkumné šetření mezi učiteli, ve kterém je zkoumán jejich pohled na výuku literární teorie a její zastoupení v čítankách, a ověření literárněteoretických znalostí a vědomostí žáků v závěru povinné školní docházky.

Abstract:

The purpose of this thesis is gathering knowledge about the place of literary theory in literary education at the second level of primary schools. The thesis monitors how the content and scope of literary theory for a given stage of education is defined in basic educational documents, how literary theory is represented in selected reading books, how literary theoretical knowledge is verified during entrance exams for secondary schools and in the common part of the Matura exam from Czech language and literature. Part of the diploma thesis is also a research survey among teachers, where is reviewed their opinions on the teaching of literary theory and its representation in reading books. And finally, verification of literary theoretical knowledge of students at the end of compulsory schooling.
