Study of mechanical properties of quasi - isotropic fibreglass laminate

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá studiem mechanických vlastností skelných laminátů s polyesterovou matricí. Teoretická část definuje kompozitní materiály, popisuje základní rozdělení a jednot-livé části. Dále jsou zde uvedeny aplikace kompozitních materiálů v praxi, jejich výroba a mechanické chovaní laminátových struktur. Praktická část je zaměřena na statické a cyklické zkoušky tahem i ohybem u skel-ných laminátů v různých prostředích. K provádění mechanických zkoušek byl použit univerzální zkušební stroj ZWICK 1456. Jsou zjišťovány materiálové vlastnosti jako mez pevnosti, modul pružnosti a jiné. Na závěr byly naměřené hodnoty vyhodnoceny v programu Minitab.

Abstract:

This master thesis studies the mechanical properties of glass laminates with polyester matrix. The theoretical section defines composite materials, describes the basic distribution and the indi-vidual parts. There are presented the application of composite materials in practice, their production and mechanical behaviour of laminate structures. The practical part is focused on static and cyclic tensile and bending tests of glass-fiber laminates in different environments for. The implementation of mechanical tests were using a universal testing machine ZWICK 1456th was used. They measured the material properties such as modulus of elasticity and strength and others. Finally, measured values were evaluated in Minitab program.
