Employee Satisfaction with Internal Communication in the Selected Company

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá spokojeností zaměstnanců s nastolenou interní komunikací ve vybrané firmě a s jednotlivými komunikačními nástroji, které jsou za tímto účelem využívány napříč všemi úrovněmi v organizaci. Cílem práce je navrhnout zlepšení v oblasti interní komunikace realizovatelná v praxi. Diplomová práce se skládá ze tří částí. V teoretické části jsou charakterizovány základní pojmy public relations, interní komunikace a manažerské komunikace. V praktické části je představena vybraná firma a jsou prezentovány výsledky dvou primárních výzkumů. V kvantitativním výzkumu jsou formou dotazníku osloveni řadoví zaměstnanci firmy a v kvalitativním výzkumu jsou s klíčovými zaměstnanci firmy realizovány individuální polostrukturované rozhovory. V závěrečné projektové části jsou na základě zjištěných poznatků definována doporučení a navržena opatření vedoucí k efektivnější interní komunikaci.

Abstract:

This master´s thesis deals with employee's satisfaction with the established internal communication in the selected company and with individual communication tools which are used for this purpose across all levels in the organization. Main goal of the thesis is to suggest improvements in internal communications feasible in practice. The master´s thesis consists of three parts. The theoretical part characterizes the basic concepts of public relations, internal communication, and managerial communication. The practical part introduces the selected company and presents the results of two primary researches. Ordinary employees of the company are addressed in the form of a questionnaire in quantitative research and individual semi-structured interviews are conducted with key employees in qualitative research. In the final project part, based on the findings, recommendations are made and measures leading to more effective internal communication are proposed.
