Quality Standards' Application of the Social Services in DpS Pdobořany

Abstract:

Tato diplomové práce navazuje na bakalářskou práci, kterou jsem zpracoval na téma Novela sociálního zákona a činnost sociálního zařízení. Cílem diplomové práce je aplikace standardů kvality sociálních služeb v podmínkách Domova pro seniory a prokázat zda zavedení uvedených standardů bylo přínosem především pro uživatele sociálních služeb. V teoretické části využívám legislativy a garancí vybraných standardů kvality, s důrazem na jejich zavádění. V praktické části se zabývám aplikací standardů do prostředí Domova pro seniory. K tomuto používám analýzu a ověřuji její výsledky terénním šetřením. Hledám odpověď na otázku, proč po dvou letech nesplnila zařízení poskytující sociální služby jednotlivé standardy kvality sociálních služeb po zavedení zákona o sociálních službách v roce 2007.

Abstract:

This Diploma Thesis continues my Bachelor Thesis which dealt with the topic The Amendment to the Social Law and Social Work Facilities. The objective of this Thesis is the application of quality standards of social services in the conditions of the Home for the Elderly and to demonstrate whether the application of above-mentioned standards was the benefit especially for the users of these social services. In the theoretical part I use the legislation and the guarantees of the selected quality standards with the emphasis to their implementation. In the theoretical part I deal with the application of these standards to the Home for the Elderly. For this purpose I use analysis and I verify its results by the field investigation. I am trying to answer the question why after two years the facilities providing social services have not carried out particular quality standards of social services after introducing the Law of Social Services in the year 2007.
