Sensitivity analysis of the compromise variant to changes in weights within selected methods of Multicriteria evaluation of alternatives

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu citlivosti kompromisní varianty na změnu vah ve vybraných metodách vícekriteriálního hodnocení variant (VHV), konkrétně metody váženého součtu (WSA) a metody bazické varianty. Hlavním cílem je zkoumat, jak změny vah kritérií ovlivňují výsledky a výsledné pořadí hodnocených variant. K dosažení tohoto cíle byla v prostředí MS Excel s využitím jazyka VBA vytvořena aplikace, která umožňuje analyzovat citlivost výsledků na změny vstupních parametrů vah. Práce zahrnuje teoretický úvod k vícekriteriálnímu rozhodování, podrobný popis použitých metod a analýzu dat získaných pomocí testování aplikace. Součástí je také přehled výsledků, které ukazují, jak různé nastavení vah může ovlivnit konečné rozhodnutí. Důraz je kladen na praktické využití vytvořené aplikace a její potenciál pro usnadnění rozhodovacího procesu, čímž přispívá k lepšímu porozumění důležitosti vah kritérií ve vícekriteriálním hodnocení.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the sensitivity analysis of the compromise variant to changes in weights within selected methods of Multi-criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA), specifically the Weighted Sum Approach (WSA) and the Basic Variant Method. The main objective is to examine how changes in criterion weights affect the results and the final ranking of evaluated alternatives. To achieve this goal, an application was developed on the Excel platform using VBA, allowing the analysis of result sensitivity to changes in input parameter weights. The thesis includes a theoretical introduction to multi-criteria decision-making, a detailed description of the methods used, and an analysis of data obtained through application testing. It also provides an overview of the results, demonstrating how different weight settings can influence the final decision. Emphasis is placed on the practical use of the developed application and its potential to facilitate the decision-making process, thereby contributing to a better understanding of the importance of criterion weights in multi-criteria evaluation.
