The concept of justice among students of law

Abstract:

Předkládaná práce se zabývá tématem pojetí spravedlnosti u studentů práv. V teoretické části jsou představeny možné přístupy ke spravedlnosti v trestním právu, je zde také rozebrán možný vliv zkušenosti s trestnou činností na preferované řešení trestné činnosti. Dále je teoretická část zaměřena na koncept víry ve spravedlivý svět a na vztah této víry a punitivních postojů vůči pachatelům trestné činnosti. Z teoretické části vyplývá podoba výzkumu realizovaného pro účely této práce, kterému je věnována část praktická. Cílem výzkumu je objasnění vzájemných vztahů mezi vírou ve spravedlivý svět, zkušeností s trestnou činností z pohledu oběti a preferovaným pojetím spravedlnosti v oblasti trestního práva (preferovaným řešením trestné činnosti). Předpokládá se, že tento vztah bude moderován vírou ve spravedlivý svět.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of conception of justice among the law students. In the theoretical part, possible approaches to the justice in the criminal law are introduced. Possible influence on preferred solution of criminal activity based on the experience with crimes is also analyzed in this part. First part is further aimed on the concept of belief in a just world and relation between this belief and punitive attitude against offenders. Based on the theoretical frame, there is a practical survey presented in the second part. The main goal of this survey is to clarify relation between the belief in a just world, experience with criminal actions and preferred conception of justice in the criminal law. There is an assumption that this relation will be moderated by belief in a just world.
