The profession of kindergarten teacher and his/her perception of the importance of physical activity for health

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vnímáním pohybových aktivit u učitelů mateřských škol. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jak učitelé vnímají pohybovou aktivitu a svůj současný životní styl. V neposlední řadě i zjistit, jak toto jejich vnímání ovlivňuje i jejich práci jakožto učitele v předškolním zařízení. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí - rozboru teoretických východisek dané problematiky a metodiky. První část se zabývá předškolním vzděláváním, osobnostní učitele a jeho vzděláním, zdravím a současným životním stylem či pohybovou aktivitou. Druhá část je věnována výzkumnému šetření, které mapuje vnímání pohybové aktivity pro zdraví u učitelů mateřských škol. Šetření proběhlo formou elektronického dotazníku, který se týkal monitoringu vnímání zdravého životního stylu, zařazování a vnímání pohybové aktivity pro osobní zdokonalování učitelů či aktuálních zdravotních potíží. Dále se pak okrajově týkal i otázek zařazování pohybových aktivit s dětmi v mateřské škole. Výsledky dotazníkového šetření jsou zpracovány do grafů. Z výsledků práce je zřejmé, že učitelky a učitelé z tohoto výzkumného souboru vnímají důležitost pohybových aktivit ve svém životním stylu a rovněž dopřávají dostatek pohybových stimulů dětem v předškolních zařízeních, kde pracují. Práce je určena především pro učitelky a učitele mateřských škol, ale také studentům tohoto oboru a širší veřejnosti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis remains the perception of physical activities in kindergarten teachers. The aim of the work was to find out how teachers perceive physical activity and their current lifestyle. Last but not least, to find out how this perception affects their work as a teacher in a preschool facility. The thesis is divided into two parts - analysis of theoretical starting points of the given issue and methodology. The first part deals with pre-school education, teacher's personality and their education, health and current lifestyle or physical activity. The second part is devoted to a research survey that maps the perception of physical activity for health of kindergarten teachers. The research was carried out in the form of an electronic questionnaire, which concerned monitoring of the perception of healthy lifestyles, classification and perception of physical activity for personal improvement of teachers or current health problems. It also dealt with issues of inclusion of physical activities with children in kindergarten. The results of the questionnaire survey are processed into graphs. It is clear from the results of the work that teachers from this research set perceive the importance of physical activities in their lifestyles and also provide sufficient movement stimulation for children in the pre-school facilities where they work. The work is intended primarily for teachers and kindergarten teachers, but also for students of this field and the wider public.
