Adaptation of first-year students at multi year grammar school to multi year grammar school

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá adaptací žáků na víceleté gymnázium. Cílem práce bylo zjistit a popsat, jak žáci prvního ročníku víceletého gymnázia vnímají svou adaptaci na víceleté gymnázium. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, na teoretickou a empirickou. Teoretická část se zabývá vymezením pojmu adaptace a zmiňuje různé faktory, které přispívají a podporují pozitivní adaptaci žáků na školu. Poté se zaměřuje na oblast socializace, která úzce souvisí s procesem adaptace a přibližuje role a pozice žáka ve středním školním věku. Dále se věnuje školní třídě jako sociální skupině. A v poslední kapitole je zmíněna oblast školní zátěže. V empirické části jsou popsány veškeré aspekty kvalitativního výzkumného šetření, a následně jsou představeny a interpretovány výsledky výzkumu realizovaného prostřednictvím hloubkových polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s žáky víceletého gymnázia.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focusing on pupils process of adaptation on multi-year gymnasia. The goal of this work is to find and explain, how pupils of first grade on gymnasia are experiencing their adaptation. This work is divided into two parts, on theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part is defining adaptation and also is mentioning various factors, which contributes and supports the positive adaptation of pupils on school. Then the focus is turning on socialization, which is closely connected with the process of adaptation and connects the role and position of the pupil in high school years. The theoretical part is also focusing on a class as a social group. The last chapter mentions the area of school workload. The empirical part describes all aspects of qualitative research, and then presents and interprets the results of this research done through in-depth semi-structured interviews with the pupils of multi-year gymnasia.
