Adaptation of a family to a birth of a child with physical disability

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce, tvořená z teoretické a praktické části, se zabývá problematikou adaptace rodiny na narození dítěte s tělesným postižením. V teoretické části vymezujeme současnou rodinu, dále dítě s vrozeným tělesným postižením a adaptaci rodiny na narození dítěte s tělesným postižením. V praktické části práce založené na kvalitativním výzkumu se zaměřujeme na adaptaci rodiny na narození dítěte s tělesným postižením. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit, jakým způsobem se rodina adaptuje na narození dítěte s tělesným postižením. Výstupem našeho výzkumného šetření realizovaného skrze polostrukturované rozhovory je zakotvená teorie.

Abstract:

The submitted diploma thesis, consisting of the theoretical and practical part, deals with the issue of family adaptation to the birth of a child with a physical disability. In the theoretical part we define the current family, then the child with a congenital physical disability and the family adaptation to the birth of a child with a physical disability. In the practical part of the work based on qualitative research, we focus on the adaptation of the family to the birth of a child with a physical disability. The aim of the research was to find out how the family adapts to the birth of a child with a physical disability. The output of our research carried out through semi-structured interviews is a grounded theory.
