Nursing Process in Care of Patient with Total Hip Replacement

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na ošetřovatelský proces u pacienta s osteoartrózou kyčelního kloubu, který podstupuje náhradu kyčelního kloubu. Cílem této práce je vytvoření ošetřovatelského procesu u konkrétního pacienta na základě předchozího posouzení a diagnostiky. Ošetřovatelský proces vychází ze stanovených ošetřovatelských diagnóz NANDA-International taxonomie II, které se vztahují ke konkrétním potřebám jedince. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Praktická část obsahuje dvě kapitoly. První kapitola popisuje problematiku osteoartrózy, její epidemiologii, diagnostiku, klasifikaci a léčbu. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na náhradu kyčelního kloubu, možné pooperační komplikace a také popisuje předoperační a pooperační péči o pacienta podstupujícího tuto operaci. V praktické části bakalářské práce je zpracován ošetřovatelský proces v péči o pacienta s totální endoprotézou kyčelního kloubu, který vychází ze stanovených ošetřovatelských diagnóz NANDA-International taxonomie II, vztahujících se k potřebám konkrétního pacienta během hospitalizace na jednotce intenzivní péče a ortopedickém oddělení.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis is focused on nursing process in care of patient with osteoarthritis of the hip joint, who is undergoing hip replacement. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a nursing process for a particular patient, which is based on previous assessment and diagnostics. The nursing process is based on established nursing diagnosis NANDA-International Taxonomy II, which relates to the specific needs of the patient. The bachelor thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is divided in two chapters. The first chaprter describes the issue of osteoarthritis, its epidemiology, diagnostics, classification and treatment. The second chapter is focused on hip replacement, possible postoperative complications, and also describes preoperative and postoperative care of the patient, who is undergoing this operation. In the practical part of this thesis is elaborated the nursing process in care of patient with total hip replacement, which is based on established nursing diagnosis NANDA-International taxonomy II, related to needs of a particular patient during hospitalization at the intensive care unit and the orthopedic department.
