Abstract:

V diplomové práci nazvané Architektonické dílo Eduarda Žáčka se věnuji tvorbě tohoto meziválečného architekta činného především na Moravě, ale také v Čechách a na Slovensku. Práce nezpracovává celou tvorbu architekta, ale předkládá čtenářům tři pohledy na tvorbu tohoto architekta. První část se věnuje Eduardu Žáčkovi jako jednomu z tří nejvýznamnějších tvůrců funkcionalistického Prostějova. Ukazuje ho jako architekta plodného zejména ve 30. letech 20. století, který citelně zasáhl do soukromé i veřejné výstavby v Prostějově těchto let. Druhá část práce pohlíží na architekta Eduarda Žáčka jako na projektanta živnostenských škol, z nichž nejlepší a nejzachovalejší škola – Odborné živnostenské školy v Prostějově - je zapsána na seznamu nemovitých kulturních památek. Poslední část se věnuje nejlepší stavbě Eduarda Žáčka, jeho vlastní vile v Lipové ulici v Brně. Tato stavba je zhmotněním všech názorů architekta na moderní bydlení a stavba je pojímána důsledně jako Le Courbusierův „stroj na bydlení“. Celá práce je pojímána jako tři různé exkurzy do tvorby tohoto architekta, patřícího mezi prvních pět absolventů architektury na České vysoké škole technické v Brně. Spadá tedy časově k druhé generaci funkcionalistických architektů v Brně. Snahou bylo představit ho v co nejširším úhlu pohledu.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the topic of the Architectural work of Eduard Zacek He was the interwar architect working mostly in Moravia but in Bohemia and Slezian as well. This thesis consist of three points of view of the architect´s work but not his whole work at all.The first part is about Eduard Zacek personally. He was one of three most important architects from Prostejov especially in thirties of 20th century who had affected the private and public building in there. The second part is about the architect Eduard Zacek as the designer of trade schools. The best and the best preserved school – „Odborné živnostenské školy v Prostějově“ - was registered in the list of the cultural immovable monuments. The third part is about the best building of Eduard Zacek which is his own villa in Lipova street in Brno. This building is a manifestation of all architect´s opinions of modern living and the building is concepted as consistently as Le Courbusier´s "machine for living". The thesis is concepted in three different excursions in the creation of the architect. Eduard Zacek belonged to the first five graduates of architecture at the Czech Technical University in Brno. It means that he was the functionalist architect of the second generation in Brno.
