Communication competence of pupils with learning disabilities in the primary stage of elementary education

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce jsou komunikativní kompetence žáků se specifickými poruchami učení na 1. stupni základní školy. Práce je rozdělena na dvě hlavní části - teoretickou a praktickou. Část teoretická je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola je zaměřena na komunikaci. Tato kapitola obsahuje čtyři podkapitoly, mezi které se řadí verbální komunikace, neverbální komunikace, specifika komunikace u žáků se specifickými poruchami učení a komunikativní kompetence žáků po dosažení základního vzdělání. Druhá kapitola se zabývá specifickými poruchami učení, obsahuje čtyři podkapitoly, které vymezují samostatný pojem SPU, klasifikaci a diagnostiku SPU. Třetí kapitola je věnována vzdělávání žáků se specifickými poruchami učení. Tato kapitola sčítá pět podkapitol, které se zabývají popisem základního vzdělávání, inkluzivním vzděláváním, vymezením legislativy a vzdělávání žáků se specifickými poruchami učení a poradenským systémem. Hlavní cíl praktické části je analýza komunikace jedinců se specifickými poruchami učení v rámci jazykových rovin u vybraného zkoumaného vzorku. K hlavnímu cíli se vztahují čtyři dílčí cíle. Pro možné srovnání jsem pracovala jak s žáky se specifickými poruchami učení, tak s žáky intaktními. Dle získaných výsledků jsem poté vytvořila pracovní listy, zaměřující se na jednotlivé kategorie.

Abstract:

The topic of this diploma thesis is the communicative competence of pupils with specific learning difficulties at primary level of education. The thesis is divided into two main parts - a theoretical and a practical. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is focused on communication. It contains four subchapters which deal with verbal communication, non-verbal communication, communication characteristics of pupils with specific learning difficulties and communicative competence of pupils after finishing primary education. The second chapter deals with specific learning difficulties, it includes four subchapters which define the term specific learning difficulties, classification, and diagnostics of specific learning difficulties. The third chapter is devoted to the education of pupils with specific learning difficulties. This chapter contains five subchapters which deal with primary education description, inclusive education, legislation specification, and education of pupils with specific learning difficulties and consulting system. The main aim of the practical part is an analysis of communication of individuals with specific learning difficulties within linguistic levels in a chosen examined sample. Four aims relate to the main aim. For a possible comparison, I worked with both pupils with specific learning difficulties, and pupils without difficulties. According to the results, I then created worksheets concentrating on individual categories.
