The impact of the abolition of the super gross wage

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá dopadem zrušení superhrubé mzdy jako základu daně z příjmů ze závislé činnosti.. Práce je rozdělena na tři části. První z nich se věnuje popisu konstrukčních prvků zdanění zaměstnanců a sociálního pojistného s platností od 1. 1. 2023. Druhá část práce se soustředí na vývoj základu daně zaměstnance od zavedení superhrubé mzdy. V poslední části se provádí komparační analýza čisté mzdy a daňového zatížení modelových poplatníků před a po zrušení superhrubé mzdy za období let 2020–2023. Dále se zde odhaduje DPH z přírůstku čisté mzdy a srovnává základ daně a sazby daní zaměstnanců ve státech EU.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis is focused on the impact of the abolition of the super-gross wage as the basis for tax on income from dependent activity. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first is dedicated to describing the structural elements of employee taxation and social insurance with effect from 01/01/2023. The second part of the work focuses on developing of the employee's tax base since the introduction of the super gross wage. In the last part, a comparative analysis of model taxpayers´net salary and tax burden is carried out before and after the abolition of the super gross salary for the period 2020-2023. Furthermore, VAT is estimated here from the increase in net wages, the tax base and employee tax rates in EU countries are compared.
