Financial Analysis of Komerční Banka, Inc.

Abstract:

Smyslem bakalářské práce je zhodnocení finanční situace Komerční Banky, a.s. za pět po sobě jdoucích hospodářských období 2011-2015. Kompletní práce obsahuje část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části je vysvětlena úloha bankovního sektoru ve finančním systému a popis tuzemského bankovního sektoru. Dále je také popsána podstata finanční analýzy a popis jednotlivých ukazatelů. Druhá část se věnuje aplikaci uvedených metod. Pro srovnání pozice Komerční banky, a.s. na tuzemském trhu je provedena částečná finanční analýza dalších dvou velkých bank, které mají velmi podobnou pozici na bankovním trhu. V závěrečné části tato práce shrnuje pohled na vývoj postavení Komerční Banky na tuzemském bankovním trhu, který bude reprezentován Českou spořitelnou a.s. a Československou obchodní bankou a.s. Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, zda Komerční banka a.s. roste srovnatelným tempem jako tuzemský bankovní sektor.

Abstract:

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of Komerční banka for five consecutive economic periods 2011-2015. The complete work contains the theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part explains the role of the banking sector in the financial system and the description of the domestic banking sector. The essay of financial analysis and description of individual indicators is also described. The second part deals with the application of these methods. To compare the position of Komerční banka, a.s. There is a partial financial analysis of the other two large banks in the domestic market, which have a very similar position on the banking market. In the final part, this paper summarizes the development of the position of Komerční banka on the domestic banking market, which will be represented by Česká spořitelna a.s. And Czechoslovak Commercial Bank a.s. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out whether Komerční banka a.s. Grows at a comparable pace as the domestic banking sector.
