Education in consumer society in relation to leisure time of children

Abstract:

Závěrečná práce pojednává o vztahu konzumní společnosti a trávení volného času dětí a jejich rodičů. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na popis konzumní společnosti, na vymezení volného času a jeho specifik v konzumní společnosti a na vliv rodiny, školy, vrstevníků a masmédií na děti. Empirická část práce je zpracována kvantitativně a je zaměřena na míru konzumního smýšlení dětí, na míru konzumně tráveného času u dětí a v jejich rodině a na vzájemný vztah mezi jednotlivými oblastmi.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on the relation between consumer society and leisure time activities of children and their families. The theoretical part characterizes the consumer society, leisure time and it´s specifics in consumer society. This part of the diploma thesis also describes the influence of family education, school education and masmedia on children. The empirical part focuses on the consumer thinking rate of children, on the amount of consumer behaviour in leisure time of children and their families and on the relation inbetween these areas.
