Abstract:

Anotace Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na současnou problematiku kriminality v U.S.A., porovnává kriminální činy tří měst v Texasu a tří měst na Aljašce. Také se zabývá všeobecným přehledem kriminality v U.S.A. i ve světě. Část teoretická popisuje kriminalitu jako celek, její původ a vlivy na ni. Část praktická poskytuje hlavní porovnání vražd, znásilnění, napadení, loupeže, žhářství, krádeže motorových vozidel – ve třech různě velkých městech státu Texas (Dallas, Austin, Waco) a Aljašky (Anchorage, Juneau, Seward).

Abstract:

Annotation The diploma thesis focuses on “Crime in the U.S.A.” which is described from the point of view of American society including theoretical information, general comparison of crime of three cities in Texas and three cities in Alaska and also comparison of U.S. crime trends with other countries of the world. Theoretical part describes crime as a whole and focuses on its influences and origin. Practical part provides major comparison of murders, rapes, assaults, robberies, burglaries, arsons, thefts and motor-vehicle thefts of three various cities with different population rate in Texas (Dallas, Austin, Waco) and three various cities in Alaska (Anchorage, Juneau, Seward).
