Abstract:

Cíl: Cílem práce bylo zmapovat pády a příčiny pádů u pacientů ve věku nad 60 let v lůžkovém zdravotnickém zařízení Nemocnice následné péče Ryjice. Metodika: Do souboru byly zařazeny všechny záznamy o pádech pacientů za období 15.1.2011-14.1.2012. Soubor byl tvořen 124 záznamy o pádech pacientů, kteří za sledované období během hospitalizace upadli. Získaná data byla zaznamenána do analytické tabulky, zpracována pomocí popisné statistiky a statistického testu ?2 s hladinou významnosti ? = 0,05. Výsledky: Nebyl potvrzen signifikantní rozdíl mezi výskytem pádů mezi muži a ženami a ani vzhledem k jejich dosaženému vzdělání. Statisticky významný rozdíl (p = 0,0003711) byl zjištěn mezi věkovými skupinami seniorů. Nejvíce padali pacienti starší 90 let, nejméně ve věku 60-74 let. Statisticky vyšší podíl pádů byl u seniorů se smyslovým a tělesným omezením (p = 0,0138). Nejvíce pádů seniorů bylo zaznamenáno v odpoledních hodinách na pokoji při přesunu z lůžka na židli nebo do pojízdného křesla. Mezi počtem zranění a okolnostmi pádu nebyla prokázána souvislost, stejně tak mezi věkem pacientů a závažnosti poranění způsobeného pádem. Závěr: Z retrospektivní analýzy vyplynulo, že pády v dlouhodobé péči jsou především problematikou vyšších věkových skupin seniorů. Pro tyto pacienty pády nepředstavují pouze zdravotní problémy, ale i psychické a sociální, proto je této problematice nutné věnovat zvýšenou pozornost nejen v oblasti snížení následků pádů, ale i prevence pádů.

Abstract:

Target: The target of this thesis was to document falls and their causes among patients aged 60+ in the hospital facility of Ryjice Hospice (Nemocnice následné péče Ryjice). Methodology: All the Patient?s fall registries in specific time. This file contained 124 registries about patient?s falls. and the Gathered data was logged up in an analytical chart, compiled using a descriptive statistic and a statistical test ?2 with the level of significance ? = 0,05. Results: Processing the data revealed that there is no statistical difference between the sexes of patients who fell. There is also no difference between patients? education. The ?2 test with the result of p = 0,0003711 was discovered among the age groups of elderly people who fell. Most falls happened in the group of people older than 90 years whereas in the age group of 60-74 years the amount of falls was minimal. The ?2 test with the result of p = 0,01383 with the handicap. Most of patients fell down in the afternoon, in their bedroom. In most of the cases the patients fell from bed or they fell down when they tried to move from a mobile WC or a chair to bed or vice versa. The connection between the number of injuries and fall?s circumstances was not proved. Nor was the connection between the seriousness of injuries and patients? age. Conclusion: The retrospective analysis showed that falls during a long-term hospitalization are mainly an issue of elderly patients from higher age groups. For these patients the falls do not cause just physical difficulties but also psychological and social. That is why it is necessary to pay more attention not just to reducing the consequences of falls but also to their prevention.
