The importance of extramural activities in the context of the implementation of the treatment program

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje zejména na problematiku extramurálních aktivit v kontextu realizace programu zacházení u odsouzených ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody. Na úvod předestírá historii výkonu trestu, která ovlivnila výkon trestu odnětí svobody na území České republiky, přičemž také poukazuje na vztah penologie s pedagogickými vědami. Dále pak plynule přechází do současnosti, kdy výkon trestu odnětí svobody spadá do kompetence Vězeňské služby České republiky. Přináší informace o realizaci výkonu trestu odnětí svobody. Poukazuje na souvislosti a provázanost plnění i neplnění programu zacházení jako celku, včetně vyhodnocení programu zacházení a kázeňského řízení právě s realizací extramurálních aktivit. Výzkumné šetření přináší zjištění četnosti využívání extramurálních aktivit v rámci věznic celé České republiky, podrobněji se pak zabývá využíváním jednotlivých druhů extramurálních aktivit ve Vazební věznici Praha Pankrác.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses in particular on the issue of extramural activities in the context of the implementation of the program of treatment of the convicts in the imprisonment. The introduction reveals the history of the execution of the sentence, which affected the execution of the sentence of imprisonment in the territory of the Czech republic. Also points to the relationship of penology with the pedagogical sciences. Then passes into the present, when the imprisonment belongs to competence of The Prison service of the Czech republic. Provides information on the implementation of imprisonment. Notes on the relations of performance and non-performance of the treatment programme as a whole, including an evaluation of the treatment programme and the disciplinary proceedings with the implementation of the extramural activities. The research brings findings frequency of use of extramural activities within prisons throughout the Czech republic, in more detail then deals with the exploitation of individual species extramural activities in The Remand prison Prague Pankrác.
