The impacts of the Global crisis on the Irish economy

Abstract:

V mé bakalářské práci budu majoritně soustředit na dopady světové ekonomické a finanční krize na Irskou republiku. Hlavním cílem mé práce je zjistit největší a nejpodstatnější dopady světové krize na irskou ekonomiku a zanalyzovat míru zasaženosti krize v této zemi. Práce je rozdělená do tří logicky navazujících a provázaných kapitol. V první kapitole se zaměřuji na teoretický výzkum příčin, průběhu a rozšíření krize do celého světa. V druhé kapitole se zabývám vývojem irské ekonomiky od počátku etapy vzkvétající irské ekonomiky od roku 1987, která bývá označována jako období „keltského tygra“. Dále v této kapitole detailně analyzuji ekonomické a sociální dopady ekonomické krize, které jsou klíčové pro tuto práci. Ve třetí kapitole se dále jedná o analýzu přijatých protikrizových opatření irskou vládou, zmiňuji i nynější stav a postavení irské ekonomiky v současnosti a zda přijaté opatření vládou byly účinné.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis focuses mostly on the impacts of the Global financial and economic crisis on the Irish republic. The aim of this thesis is to determine the greatest and the most important impacts of the Global crisis on the Irish economy and to analyse the rate of intervention of the Global crisis in this country. This thesis is divided into three logically continued parts. In the first chapter I focus on theoretical research of the causes, process and expansion of the crisis into the entire world. In the second chapter I deal with the development of the Irish economy since the beginning of the phase of buoyant Irish economy from 1987, which used to be marked as a period of the „Celtic tiger“. Further in this chapter I analyse economic and social impacts of the Global economic and financial crisis in detail, which are key indicators for my thesis. In the third chapter is about the analysis of the accepted anti-crisis measures by the Irish government, I mention the nowadays status and the position of the Irish economy and whether the accepted anti-crisis measures were effective.
