Development of Culture and Role of Non-profit Organisations in the City of Kroměříž

Abstract:

Kultura je důležitým prvkem každého regionu, vytváří jeho identitu, ale také identitu oby-vatel a celkově přispívá k jejich životní úrovni. Diplomová práce je zaměřena na rozvoj kultury města Kroměříže a roli neziskových organizací. Cílem práce je určit hlavní aktéry v oblasti místní kultury, zhodnotit roli a spolupráci neziskových organizací a navrhnout projekt, který přispěje k rozvoji kultury města Kroměříže. K dosažení stanovených cílů byla použita metoda řízeného rozhovoru s vedoucími pracovníky místních neziskových organizací a metoda analýzy kulturního prostředí. Výzkumné šetření ukázalo málo rozvi-nutý cestovní ruch a nedostatek kulturních akcí na podporu identity dětí a mládeže. Pro podporu těchto stanovených prioritních oblastí byly navrženy projekty, jejichž realizace bude prostřednictvím neziskových (nevládních) organizací, což přispěje k posílení spolu-práce mezi neziskovými organizacemi.

Abstract:

Culture is an important element of each region which creates a regional identity and con-tributes to overall standard of living. The thesis is focused on the development of culture of the City of Kroměříž and the role of NGOs. The aim is to identify the key players in the local culture, to evaluate the role and cooperation of NGOs and propose a project that will contribute to the development of the culture of the City of Kroměříž. In order to achieve the set objectives there were controlled interviews with executives of local NGOs and method of analysis of the cultural environment. The survey showed little attention to pro-moting tourism and a lack of cultural events to show the identity of the children and youth. To support these identified priority areas projects were designed whose implementation will be done through non-profit non govermrnent organisations (NGOs), which will help to strengthen the cooperation between NGOs.
