Disertační práce si klade za cíl aparátem celostní filologie prokázat platnost předpokladů Jana Mukařovského a Jiřího Veltruského, že dramatický text lze interpretovat vyložením hodnoty znaků uvnitř významových kontextů vázaných na jednotlivé postavy; tyto významové kontexty lze přesněji uchopit terminologií celostní filologie (resp. interpretační sémantiky F. Abstract:
The aim of the present doctoral thesis is to prove―using the apparatus of encompassing philology―the validity of the assumptions of Jan Mukařovský and Jiří Veltruský that the dramatic text can be interpreted by an analysis of sign values within the semantic context associated with the dramatic character.
