Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku burz, která je zkoumána z několika aspektů. Cílem je porovnání české, malé burzy s burzou americkou, která patří mezi jednu z největších burz světa. Teoreticko-metodologická část se zabývá jednak burzami, jejich charakteristikou a historií, ale i kapitálovým trhem jako celkem, akciemi a akciovými indexy. This bachelor thesis focuses at an issue of stock exchanges which is examined from several aspects. The aim is a comparison of the small Czech Stock Exchange with an American Stock Exchange which is one of the biggest in the world.
