KONVERGUJE NEBO SE ROZDÍLÍ REGIONÁLNÍ EKONOMIKA ČÍNY?

Abstract:

Od zavedení ekonomických reforem a politik otevřenosti se Čína setkala s významnými rozdíly v ekonomickém rozvoji svých regionů. Zatímco rozdíly v regionálním ekonomickém růstu se do určité míry zúžily, stále existují významné rozdíly mezi regiony. Různé faktory, včetně strategií místních vlád, geografických poloh, infrastruktury a podmínek na trhu, přispívají k těmto regionálním disparitám. Tato diplomová práce si klade za cíl komplexně prozkoumat a analyzovat faktory, které přispívají k těmto disparitám v regionální ekonomice Číny. Prostřednictvím analýzy časových řad dat sahajících do posledních 20 let a začleněním ukazatelů jako je HDP na obyvatele, infrastruktury a statistik mezinárodního obchodu se tato výzkumná práce zabývá různými čínskými regiony prostřednictvím systematické analýzy jedinečných ekonomických podmínek každého regionu. Účelem je optimalizovat model pro konkrétní regiony a identifikovat klíčové faktory, které ovlivňují regionální ekonomické rozdíly. Navíc se snaží měřit a předpovídat, zda tyto regiony budou zažívat konvergenci nebo divergenci ve svých budoucích ekonomických trendech pomocí specifických ukazatelů.

Abstract:

Since implementing economic reforms and opening up policies, China has experienced a significant disparity in economic development across its regions. While the gaps in regional economic growth have narrowed to some extent, there are still significant differences between regions. Various factors, including local government strategies, geographical locations, infrastructure, and market conditions, contribute to these regional disparities. This Master thesis aims to comprehensively examine and analyze the factors that contribute to these disparities in China's regional economy. By analyzing time series data spanning the past 20 years and incorporating indicators such as GDP per capita, infrastructure, and international trade statistics, this research delves into different Chinese regions, through a systematic analysis of each region's unique­ economic circumstances. By optimizing the model for specific regions, the study seeks to identify the key factors driving regional economic differences. Additionally, it seeks to measure and predict whether these regions will experience convergence or divergence in their future economic trends using specific indicators.
