Intercultural Training in Business Practice

Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma Interkulturní trénink v podnikové praxi se zabývá problematikou interkulturní komunikace, možností jejího zlepšení pomocí interkulturního tréninku a aktuální praxí v českých firmách při jeho používání. Teoretická část práce vymezuje pojmy kultura, interkulturní komunikace a interkulturní trénink. Praktická část zahrnuje vlastní výzkum ve firmách na českém trhu formou dotazníkového šetření a případovou studii ve vybrané firmě. Na základě zjištěných výsledků jsou v poslední části podány návrhy, jak by měly firmy interkulturní trénink využívat a jaké mají možnosti včetně shrnutí jejich hlavních výhod a omezení.

Abstract:

Master's thesis on Intercultural Training in Business Practice deals with the intercultural communication, opportunities for its improvement through intercultural training and actual practices in czech companies when using it. The theoretical part defines the concepts of culture, intercultural communication and intercultural training. The practical part includes research in firms in the czech market through a survey and case study in a chosen company. Based on the findings, the last part of the thesis includes proposals, how should companies use intercultural training and what are their options including a summary of their main advantages and limitations.
