Competences of the social worker Authority for Social and Legal Protection of Children

Abstract:

Tato výzkumně zaměřená bakalářské práce se zabývá mírou významnosti kompetencí sociálních pracovníků/nic OSPOD v Ostravě. Za pomocí dotazníkového šetření jsem získala data od 60 respondentů, které jsem následně zpracovala a na jejich základě prozkoumala subjektivní míru významnosti jednotlivých kompetencí sociálních pracovníků. Tyto informace následně analyzuji a určuji jejich pořadí. Touto analýzou jsem zjistila pro mé respondenty, tedy sociální pracovníky/nice klíčovou kompetenci při výkonu jejich profese a tou je "kompetence rozvíjet účinnou komunikaci" a další znalosti, schopnosti, dovednosti a postoje, které jsou klíčové pro výkon profese sociálního pracovníka/nice OSPOD.

Abstract:

This research oriented bachelor's thesis focuses on the level of significance of the competences for social workers on OSPOD in Ostrava. With the help of a questionnaire survey, I obtained data from 60 respondents, which I subsequently processed and based on them examined the subjective degree of importance of individual competencies of social workers. I then analyze this information and determine their order. Through this analysis, I discovered a key competence for my respondents, in the performance of their profession, and that key competence is the "competence to develop effective communication" and other knowledge, abilities, skills and attitudes which are necessarily to the performance of the profession social worker on OSPOD.
