Does revitalisation of Šumava streams help clitellates?

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje tématu revitalizací vodních toků. Konkrétně se zaměřuje na revitalizovaný tok Hučina na Šumavě a jeho následnou kolonizaci vodními opaskovci. Práce obsahuje dvě části: teoretickou rešeršní část a praktickou část zaměřenou na zpracování vodních opaskovců z referenčních a revitalizovaných úseků. V rešeršní části jsou popsané revitalizace, jejich důvody, cíle, metody a jejich dopad na permanentní faunu. Dále jsou zde popsané příčiny a podmínky revitalizací na Šumavě a jejich provedení. V neposlední řadě se věnuje skupině vodních opaskovců, jejich ekologii a vlastnostem jednotlivých čeledí vzhledem k podmínkám v revitalizovaných tocích. V praktické části byly determinovány listopadové vzorky od roku 2013 do roku 2016 z revitalizovaného toku Hučina. Celkem bylo determinováno 5 483 jedinců, z nichž nejhojněji zastoupení byli juvenilní jedinci rodu Stylodrilus z čeledi Lumbriculidae. Další výsledky ukázaly, že druhová diverzita i abundance v průběhu čtyř let vzrůstala a v posledních dvou letech (2015, 2016) byla diverzita a abundance téměř vyrovnaná s referenčními úseky (Hučina nad a Studená Vltava). Dá se tedy přepokládat, že kolonizace revitalizovaného toku Hučina probíhala úspěšně.

Abstract:

This bacherol thesis deals with restoration of watercourses. This thesis is focused on the restoration of the Hučina stream in Šumava National Park and its colonization by aquatic Clitellata. This thesis has two parts: a theoretical part and a practical part, which is focused on identification of aquatic clitellates from restored parts and reference parts of the stream. The restoration, reasons from them, purposes, methods and their impact on permanent fauna, are described in the theoretical part. Specific reasons for restorations and local conditions in Šumava National Park are also discussed. This thesis also includes description of aquatic clitellates, their ecology and characteristics of individual families in view of conditions in restored streams. Samples witch were taken in November from 2013 to 2016 from restored part of the Hučina stream were identified in practical part of thesis. Total number of 5 483 individuals was recorded juvenile Stylodrilus from the family Lumbriculidae was the most abundant. Another results show, that a species diversity and an abundance were increasing during four years and in last two years (2015, 2016) species diversity and abundance was almost equal to the results from the reference parts (the Hučina stream above restored stream, the Studená Vltava river). It can be assumed that colonization of the Hučina stream was successful.
