Analysis of the relationship of the target language and mother tongue in German language teaching at primary school.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá rozborem vztahu mateřského a cílového jazyka při výuce německého jazyka na základních školách. K analýze jsem použila videostudie a transkripty získané z projektu Videostudie německého jazyka realizovaného na Institutu výzkumu školního vzdělávání Masarykovy univerzity v roce 2012, na jejichž základě jsem zkoumala poměr užití mateřského a cílového jazyka s hlubším zaměřením na volbu jazyka učitele při zadávání úkolů. Jelikož úkoly tvoří rozhodující postavení mezi didaktickým záměrem učitele a úspěchem výuky cizího jazyka při kognitivních procesech žáků a jsou pomocí nich sledovány a zároveň splňovány didaktické cíle cizojazyčného vzdělávání zakotvené v kurikulárních dokumentech České republiky, dostaly se tak do popředí mého zájmu a staly se tudíž klíčovými situacemi mého výzkumu. V teoretické části jsem nastínila vývoj metod výuky cizích jazyků v zahraničí i u nás. Dále jsem se zabývala kurilárními dokumenty požadující osvojení si komunikační kompetence, jako cíle výuky cizích jazyků, uskutečňovaného rozvojem řečových dovedností a jazykových prostředků. Empirická část pojednává o východiscích a cílech výzkumu. Důležité bylo vytvoření si vhodného kategoriálního systému, podle kterého jsem analyzovala a vyhodnocovala výzkumný vzorek. V závěrečné části jsem pak shrnula výsledky mého výzkumu.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the analysis of the relationship of the parent and target language, German language teaching in primary schools. The analysis I used videostudy and transcripts obtained from the project Videostudies German conducted at the Institute for Research in School Education at Masaryk University in 2012, based on which I examined the ratio of use of the mother tongue and the target language with a deeper focus on the choice of language teachers when assigning the task. Since the tasks form a pivotal position between didactic intention teachers and the success of foreign language teaching in the cognitive processes of students and are using them to monitor and also met educational goals of foreign language education enshrined in the curricula of the Czech Republic, thus came to the forefront of my interest and was therefore key situations my research. In the theoretical part, I outlined the development of methods of teaching foreign languages ​​abroad and in our country. Then I dealt kurilárními documents asking for mastering communication skills, as goals of teaching foreign languages, channeled the development of language skills and language resources. The empirical part deals with the assumptions and objectives of the research. The important thing was to create a proper system of categories by which I analyzed and evaluated the research sample. In the final section, I then summarized the results of my research.
